For those wanting a "preview" of 102 Dalmatins.. see on the addresss
below : http://www.upcomingmovies.com/102dalmatians.html

This is most of what it says:
102 Dalmatians

Release Date: November, 2000

Distributor: Walt Disney Pictures

Cast: Glenn Close (Cruella De Vil), Gerard Depardieu, Alice Evans, Ioan Gruffudd

Cast Note: There will probably be several other cast members yet to be announced. Most noticeable in their absences at this point are some of the cast members from the first movie, such as Jeff Daniels, Joely Richardson, and Joan Plowright. Since this film appears to be a whole new story centering around Cruella... it's possible they either are not in the film or have very small parts.

Animation: Though real dogs will be used as well, some of the puppies will be created using computer animation by the Secret Lab, the new Disney effects arm formed by the merger of DreamQuest Images and Walt Disney Features Animation. This will be the first film worked on by this new department.

Director: Kevin Lima (A Goofy Movie, codirector of Tarzan)

Screenwriters: Kristen Buckley, Brian Regan (debuts)

Based upon: This is the sequel to the 1996 live-action remake of 101 Dalmatians, which of course was based upon the 1961 animated film One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Premise: The manager (Gruffudd) of an animal orphanage (which also has
some Dalmatian puppies...) is threatened by authorities who want to shut it
down.
So, he talks to the press, hoping to attract help, but what he attracts instead is... the recently released Cruella De Vil who moves in with the hope of turning the puppies into a coat... a Dalmatian coat, complete with one as a hood. (Depardieu plays a French designer interested in the fur...  Alice Evans plays Gruffudd's girlfriend).

Filming: Production on this film starts on November 26th, 1999 in Shepperton
Studios in London, and will probably wrap sometime in March, 2000. Mr. Depardieu will film the majority of his role in Paris.
